Common questions
Do I need a card to start?
No. The Free plan needs no card. Add one when you move to a paid plan.
What counts as a contact?
A subscribed person on your list. People who unsubscribed or bounced do not count. If your list grows past your plan, we ask you to move up; your emails still go.
What happens if I send more than my plan's emails?
On a paid plan the extra emails cost £1 per 1,000, up to the most you choose in Billing. Choose 0 and sending stops at your allowance. The Free plan stops at 750 emails a month.
What is the difference between Starter and Pro?
Starter sends from your own domain with no branding, and has one welcome email that goes when a person joins. Pro has every feature: unlimited automations with many emails, waits, If/else paths and tags; A/B subject tests; resends; RSS and daily feed emails.
How does yearly billing work?
A yearly plan costs 10 months and gives the same monthly emails each month. Extra emails on a yearly plan are added to the invoice at the end of the year.
Can I pay in US dollars?
Yes. Choose pounds or US dollars in Billing before your first payment. The prices are the same numbers in both.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time, in Billing. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then moves to Free. Nothing is deleted.
Do you add VAT?
No. We do not add VAT or sales tax. The price you see is the price you pay, and your invoice shows that total.
Can I bring my list from another service?
Yes, on every plan. Unsubscribes and bounces come across, so you stay within the law.
